Position Overview
An exciting opportunity to join our growing team. Due to the growth of our service, we are looking for Waking Watch (Night Staff Workers) to work across the established Cambian Shap Road and our new service to be opened. The role supports young adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum challenges, helping them achieve independence.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
9 pm to 9 am – average 42 hours per week. 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern.
The Home
Cambian Shap Road is an outstanding CQC-rated residential care home for young adults in Kendal. It provides exceptional care and support, helping residents live as independently as possible and be part of the community.
Key Responsibilities
You will support young adults with their daily care and social needs, complete activities, and help them become as independent as possible. You will work holistically across Care, Therapeutic & Clinical services, supporting the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications & Training
No experience necessary, though any prior training will be welcomed. Successful applicants will receive a Care Certificate (Level 2) and a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, with full training for career and personal development.
