Waking Night Children’s Residential Support Worker

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to provide overnight care and support to children with complex needs, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and comfort throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct overnight care and supervision
• Carry out regular welfare checks and respond to children’s needs
• Support emotional wellbeing and personal care where required
• Administer medication and first aid when necessary
• Maintain a safe environment through health & safety and security checks
• Accurately record night reports and relevant information
• Contribute to a trauma-informed, nurturing environment

About You

• Previous experience in care or childcare is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations
• IT proficiency for record keeping
