School Catering Assistant – Term Time Only (Agency Work)

We are currently recruiting School Catering Assistants to work on a temporary agency basis within a school in Ashford. This role is term time only, making it ideal if you are looking for work that fits around school hours.

Role Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Serving meals to pupils and staff
• Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy
• Washing up and general kitchen duties
• Adhering to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards

Requirements

• Valid DBS certificate (Essential)
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or above)
• Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Friendly and professional manner when working in a school environment
