Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking healthy, high-quality meals for pupils and staff
- Supervising and supporting kitchen staff

- Managing stock, ordering supplies, and minimising waste
- Adapting menus to meet dietary requirements and SEN-specific needs
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- Have previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment (supervisory experience desirable)
- Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
- Be organised, reliable, and confident leading a small team
- Understand the importance of meeting dietary and medical needs
- Enjoy working in a school or care-based environment
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
