Overview

Waking Night Support Worker – Boorley Green – £12.75 ph

Full time – 3/4 nights a week – Hours 21:30-07:30

Responsibilities

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. In our residential service in Basingstoke, you’ll be providing a welcoming and friendly environment where no two days are the same. You’ll enhance the lives of the people we support by assisting with bedtime routines, including personal care, and completing regular checks throughout the night. You will also be expected to complete light domestic duties in any spare time.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone’s life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

Qualifications & Values

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. Our Support Workers should be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice, as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
