Job Description:

You will support a young man in his 20s with autism, learning disability, ADHD and epilepsy. Working as part of a close‑knit team, you will help him live life on his own terms – independently, confidently and joyfully.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily routines from morning to bedtime.
  • Plan fun, person‑centred activities that boost wellbeing.
  • Contribute to tailored support plans.
  • Build therapeutic relationships that truly make a difference.
  • Keep accurate support notes – every detail matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills, spoken and written.
  • Previous experience in a care/support setting.
  • A valid manual UK driving licence.
  • The legal right to live and work in the UK.
  • Confidence, emotional resilience and a strong personality to support individuals with complex needs.

Recruitment Process

  • Criminal background check through the Disclosure and Barring Service, where appropriate.
  • Documentary evidence to confirm identity, current address and right to work.
  • Health declaration to ensure medical suitability.
  • Reference checks to confirm satisfactory conduct in previous employment.
