We’re looking for a Road Surfacing Team Leader to manage sites across Scotland, leading operatives, plant, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality surfacing works safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be on site, making decisions, keeping jobs moving, and holding standards.

The Role

• Lead surfacing gangs on active sites across the region
• Manage day-to-day site operations, including plant and subcontractors
• Plan and execute daily works to meet programme and output targets
• Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met
• Deliver work to spec and secure client sign-off at the end of each shift
• Minimise waste, reduce remedials, and drive efficiency on site
• Complete site records, briefings, and compliance documentation

What Matters

• Experience in road surfacing and machine lay asphalt works
• Confident leading a gang and managing site activity
• Strong understanding of surfacing plant (pavers, rollers, etc.)
• Able to make decisions on site and keep work moving
• Safety-first mindset with high standards
• Flexible and willing to travel across projects in the region
