A specialist, independent geoscience consultancy near Swindon is seeking a Senior Geoscientist to join a growing, offshore consultancy supporting renewables and subsea cable projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Geoscientist to work on complex developments from early site assessment through to operational monitoring.
The successful Senior Geoscientist will interpret and integrate geophysical, geotechnical, and geological datasets to assess seabed conditions, risks, and constraints.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and integrate offshore geophysical and geotechnical datasets
- Deliver ground models, desk studies, and cable burial risk assessments
- Produce high-quality technical reports and visual outputs
- Support offshore survey planning, specifications, and optimisation
- Contribute to tenders and commercial proposals
- Supervise junior team members and support project delivery
- Assist with business development and xwzovoh client engagement
Requirements for the Senior Geoscientist role:
- Degree in Earth Sciences or related field
- Extensive geoscience consultancy experience
- Strong data interpretation and ground modelling skills
- Familiarity with software such as Kingdom, DUG Insight, SonarWiz, or Leapfrog
- Live in or near to Swindon
- Full right to work in the UK
