We are seeking an experienced full-time Consultant Psychiatrist who will work at Cygnet Sherwood House and provide psychiatric care to inpatients and residents on our specialist high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service which can support up to 30 patients.

The post holder will be the Responsible Clinician and will oversee and maintain the care of all ward inpatients as required and will also have responsibility for auditing the medical services rendered at the ward and ensuring their good quality in accordance to GMC standards of good medical practice and other relevant professional guidelines. Moreover, the post holder will have responsibility for upholding the Company's policies and procedures and protecting the Company's interests as appropriate.

Our service aims to assist individuals with their return to community living. Those placed with us often come from multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or are stepping down from secure settings.

By combining a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach, we deliver high-quality care using our unique 4 stage model of care for our mental health high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) services.

In this role, your expertise will be the driving force for life-changing treatment fully supported by a Specialty Doctor and first-class multidisciplinary team including qualified nurses, psychologist and occupational therapist.

Requirements
