Interim Senior Finance Recruiter - Associate Director

London | Hybrid Working

We’ve partnered with a dynamic, international organisation in their search for a high calibre Assistant Financial Controller. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing team where you’ll play a key role in shaping financial control processes and supporting strategic decision-making. The role offers a clear progression path to Financial Controller and exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, commercially aware finance professional who is looking for a role with real influence, autonomy and progression.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering robust financial control, reporting, and compliance across the UK and wider EMEA region. You’ll take ownership of key accounting areas, lead the UK month-end close, manage key accounting areas, and act as a trusted deputy to the Head of EMEA Financial Control.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the UK month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Own the UK balance sheet and ensure all reconciliations are completed and reviewed
Manage inventory accounting and liaise with supply chain and commercial teams
Support statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors
Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and systems
Partner with Group Finance, Internal Audit, Production, Shared Service, Commercial Finance teams
Assist with the integration of new systems and process automation initiatives
Mentor and support a team of 3 their development

Qualifications & Experience

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
2-5 years PQE in a multinational environment
Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS or UK GAAP)
Experience in a financial control or audit role within a complex, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience with inventory accounting or supply chain finance (desirable)
Exposure to international or multi-entity environments
