Overview
Associate Director CRE Facility Agent, London — We are actively looking to speak with Commercial Real Estate Facility Agents who are considering a move and meet the criteria suggested below. Ideally those already embedded in the facility agency world and working for one of the key players within this niche corner of the market. The CRE Facility Agent role involves managing a portfolio of Commercial Real Estate loans from drawdown through to redemption. This includes working with Credit Admin to ensure timely and accurate servicing of a portfolio of loans for institutional clients. The Associate Director will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain robust processes, timely communication and compliance with industry regulations.
Duties
- Manage a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans where we act as Facility Agent and/or Security Agent.
- Work closely with our legal team, reviewing finance documents prior to loan closing and through the life of the loan.
- Create financial models, diarise conditions subsequent, construction milestones and any other significant events, including the provision of borrower reporting, in line with the relevant finance documents.
- Liaise with borrowers and their representatives to ensure reporting and other information required under the relevant finance documents is provided in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with lenders, borrowers and their respective lawyers regarding loan redemptions, restructuring, amendments, waivers and other ad hoc requests.
- Process transfers, set up waterfalls and review back-office calculations.
- Liaise with project monitors, borrowers and lenders regarding drawdowns and calculating lender splits, if required.
Salary
Salary circa £85,000 +

Qualifications / Experience
- Experience as a CRE Facility Agent and/or in a similar facility agency role, with exposure to UK and European CRE lending.
- Ability to review finance documents and coordinate with legal teams and stakeholders through loan life cycles.
- Experience creating financial models and managing borrower reporting in line with finance documents.
