Our client is looking for someone who is well established as a senior finance professional looking for a Head of Finance role in a renowned organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the accounting and financial operations function and work closely with our external accounting partners to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and approve month-end close, payroll, balance sheet control, annual audit prep, and reporting.
- Build metrics dashboards and budgets for the group.
- Provide strategic insights to improve operational performance.
- Drive improvements in finance systems and processes as part of ongoing transformation projects.
Essential Background
- Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA having held senior roles previously.
- Expertise includes funding, treasury, tax, FP&A and finance transformation incorporating systems, digital integrations and insight led reporting.
- Charities experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- Experience of transforming finance functions and systems.
- Experience working within charitable environments.
- Strong understanding of VAT, and audit processes
- Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
