Senior Software Engineer – Hedge Fund - Python/C# - London - Up to £200k TC

One of London's best performing Funds is looking to add two Software Engineers to its Core Engineering team. These roles sit at the intersection of technology and middle office operations, building and maintaining mission-critical systems that support valuations, risk, PnL, and the wider trading lifecycle.

The role

• Design and develop robust systems primarily in Python, with additional work in C#
• Contribute to tools supporting Risk, PnL, Valuations, and Middle Office functions
• Apply strong software engineering principles, including testing, reliability, and systems architecture
• Work closely with operations and technology teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready code

What we’re looking for

• 3–6 years’ experience in software engineering within trading, finance, or a related environment
• Strong skills in Python and the ability to read and write C# code confidently
• Exposure to middle office systems, valuations, or the trading lifecycle
• Degree in Computer Science (BSc or MSc)
• Strong focus on testing, reliability, and software design best practices
