UK's Fastest Growing Fintech/Payment Start-up | £90K + Equity | Senior Back End Engineer (Node.js) | 2 Days LDN

I’m reaching out with an opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing payments start-ups that’s scaling at 5–10% growth every week since launch. They’ve built tools that empower small businesses worldwide — from card readers that cost less than half of Square or SumUp, to slick mobile and web apps driving real impact for independent merchants. They’re now looking for an experienced TypeScript Node.js Engineer to join their product & engineering team and help build the next generation of their platform.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building features across their backend stack: APIs (Express), Postgres, Redis, and Node.js
• Owning greenfield projects while helping maintain existing APIs
• Collaborating with a squad of 4–5 developers to deliver end-to-end features
• Championing code quality, scalability, and testing (unit + e2e)

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Node.js + TypeScript
• Proficiency with SQL (Postgres/MySQL) & Redis
• Experience with payment providers (Stripe, Braintree, etc.)
• Familiarity with POS applications
