Overview / Description of the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic VP Sales EMEA to lead our regional sales efforts and drive significant ARR growth across key EMEA markets. You will be a critical part of the senior leadership team and report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. You will be responsible for scaling our mid‑market and enterprise sales operations, executing our go-to-market strategy, and mentoring a high‑performing sales team based across multiple locations. This is a unique opportunity to shape Phrase’s growth in the EMEA region and champion our AI‑driven localization platform across diverse industries.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead and expand the EMEA sales organization to drive new business growth and revenue.
- Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies in alignment with global objectives.
- Manage pipeline development, forecasting, and strategic sales planning to exceed quarterly and annual targets.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team with a strong performance culture.
- Build strong executive-level relationships with customers and act as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to align on growth strategies.
- Drive brand awareness and customer education across EMEA, promoting Phrase’s unified localization platform.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and challenges.
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, accountability, and continuous learning.
What you need:
- 7–10 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales with at least 3+ years in a senior sales leadership role, preferably with EMEA coverage.
- Proven success in leading teams to exceed revenue targets in fast‑paced, scale‑up environments.
- Experience with mid‑market and enterprise sales cycles; ACV range €50K–€1m+.
- Strong understanding of localization technologies and/or content globalization strategies preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep knowledge of sales operations, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, cross‑functional, and international environment.
- Data‑driven mindset with a focus on results, accountability, and team development.
