Base pay range

Venn Group are currently partnering with a high performing Housing Association who are recruiting for a Head of Governance and Risk to join their team for an initial 12-14 month contract. As the Head of Governance & Risk you will be responsible for providing risk management and strategic oversight of assurance for compliance and governance.

Contract: 12 – 14 month contract

Start: ASAP

Duties:

1. Lead on organisational risk management and collaborate with the wider business, ensuring risk is accounted for in decision making.
2. Oversee internal audit contract, ensuring it aligns with the risk management framework.
3. Secure insurance and oversee compliance with data protection regulations.
4. Effectively manage the procurement function, ensuring value for money across the organisation.
5. Maintain awareness and provide updates on regulatory standards, liaising with the board and committees.

Experience:

Experience managing the risk and controls framework in a regulated sector (ideally Social Housing).
