Following a period of steady, unprecedented growth, they are seeking an Operations Director to play a vital role in preparing the company for this expansion. The role focuses on promoting end-to-end excellence for internal and external customers, encompassing project delivery, quality management, and business efficiency. It is a hands-on role requiring active involvement in all projects, with experience in both strategic and practical aspects of operations.

This is an executive role reporting to the CEO, requiring a strong background in strategic and operational management and implementation. You will manage a small team and participate in senior leadership meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Optimizing operational strategies and processes to support growth
• Collaborating with the CEO and executive team to align operations with business strategy
• Developing and implementing efficient systems, policies, and procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability
• Overseeing the implementation of a new operations management system
• Managing project management functions and improving procedures
• Identifying industry trends, technologies, and opportunities for operational excellence
• Having at least 8 years of operations management experience within an SME professional services environment
• Balancing hands-on and strategic operational responsibilities
• Experience with business management systems, project management, and process improvement methodologies
• Proven success in leading teams through growth and operational change
• Profit and loss analysis skills at the project level
• Bachelor’s degree in business or operations management
