Senior Infrastructure Architect role at Transport for London. Salary: £78,000-£85,000 dependent on skills, knowledge & experience. Benefits include free travel across TfL services, Final Salary Pension and 30 days annual leave. Location: North Greenwich, London - Hybrid Working. TfL operate a Hybrid Working policy with a maximum of 50% of time working from home a month, averaging 2-3 days a week in the office.
As a Senior Infrastructure Architect in the Hosting and Infrastructure Architecture team at TfL you’ll be at the heart of major projects and programmes that continually improve the travel experience in London. You will develop new solutions in Public and Private Cloud to deliver initiatives across cyber security, customer facing services, revenue collection, end user computing, and internal systems that keep the business running.
You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of specific infrastructure products – from conceptualisation and business case development, right the way through to shaping achievable strategies and roadmaps. You will be supported by the Project Manager, Business Analyst, Development Solution Architecture and Test Teams to explore high and low-level designs, before deployment and operation. You will work with third-party suppliers to ensure proposed solutions meet business and technical requirements.
