Data Architect - Enterprise

London hybrid - 3x days a week

A leading organisation within the retail domain are looking for an experienced Data Architect to play a crucial role in shaping enterprise data strategy within a large, complex environment.

This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s data ecosystem, driving data integrity, governance and security while enabling analytics, reporting, AI, and customer-facing solutions.

You’ll design and oversee scalable, high-quality data architectures that support both operational decision‑making and long‑term innovation.

This is a hands‑on, influential role with real ownership over enterprise data architecture, from strategic design through to implementation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Enterprise Data Architecture design and governance
• Conceptual and logical data modelling
• Data lakes, warehouses, and repositories
• Data ingestion, transformation, and integration
• Retail industry data models and standards
• Compliance with GDPR, PCI‑DSS, and InfoSec standards
• Collaboration across engineering, analytics, and business teams
• Extensive experience within Data Architecture & Design
• Strong experience within Retail, Hospitality or a similar domain
• Strong understanding of data platforms and enterprise‑scale data flows
• Experience with Oracle and/or Teradata (advantageous)
