Overview
Exciting opportunity for a .Net C# Software Engineer with a background in trading environments to join this global Commodities Trading Company. This is a 12-month initial contract with potential for rolling extensions and possible transition to permanent.
Key Requirements
- Strong .NET Core / C# experience
- Strong SQL Server experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, demand-driven trading environment
- Ideally, experience modelling commodities, ideally energy (power, gas, environmental products)
- Hands-on experience with Azure is desirable, though open to other cloud hosting technologies
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- Positive attitude and ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment
- Self-starter, logical thinker and quick learner with strong initiative
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely
