Senior Software Engineer – TypeScript, NodeJS/NestJS, GraphQL, AWS, Kubernetes/Docker

You will join an established and successful business within its sector and be part of its small, agile team that are working with a cutting‑edge tech stack and following modern engineering principles.

It’s the perfect role for a Senior Engineer who is looking to take on more ownership of projects, be the go‑to backend expert, lead another engineer, and influence how systems evolve.

Responsibilities

• Lead another engineer through workstreams, prioritising and managing tickets.
• Own backend engineering with NodeJS / NestJS in a cloud environment.
• Work with Kubernetes or Docker and have hands experience with Terraform.
• Collaborate in a remote‑first environment, with monthly in‑office office planning.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in backend engineering with NodeJS / NestJS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor another engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes/Docker, Terraform and AWS.
• Experience with GraphQL and modern engineering principles.
