Reserving Actuary

Overview

A leading Lloyd’s insurance group is seeking a Reserving Actuary to support reserving processes across a diverse portfolio, including direct, reinsurance, and specialist business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established actuarial team working on technically complex, high-profile lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Supporting quarterly reserving processes (GAAP & Solvency II Technical Provisions).
• Contributing to IFRS 17 reporting and reserving for innovative “Partnership” deals.
• Leading deep dive analyses and bringing actionable insights to the business.
• Enhancing and maintaining reserving models and visualisations.
• Driving innovation in the use of actuarial data to support strategic decisions.
