Head of Finance Systems - Horwich Farrelly (Remote)

This is a senior, strategic, and hands‑on role, responsible for overseeing the firm’s Finance Systems landscape, with a primary focus on Aderant Expert. You will act as the bridge between Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective operation, development, and integration of the PMS and associated finance technologies. You will play a critical role in helping Horwich Farrelly harness the full potential of Aderant Expert, supporting performance insights, compliance, process automation, and business intelligence.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience working with Aderant Expert, including configuration, development, and support.
• Strong knowledge of core Aderant modules (Expert Billing, Collections, Entity Manager, Expert Time, Expenses, etc.)
• Proven experience with SQL Server, SSRS, T‑SQL, and financial data analysis/reporting.
• Proficiency in Design Studio and DocuDraft.
• Experience managing data flows, systems integrations, and structured financial data.
• Experience using the Aderant API suite.
• Experience working within law firms or professional services firms is highly desirable.
• Understanding and experience with Sharedo a plus.
• Solid understanding of finance processes and legal practice management.
