Job Title: Oracle HCM/Payroll Consultant (Part-Time – 4 Days/Week)
Location: London, UK (4 days per week in office)
Type: Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM/Payroll Consultant to join our consulting client on a (4 days per week). You will play a key role in the ongoing support, configuration, and enhancement of the Oracle HCM Cloud and Payroll modules, ensuring the system aligns with business needs and statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Act as SME for Oracle HCM Cloud and Payroll modules (UK Payroll focus)
- Configure, test, and deploy Oracle HCM/Payroll enhancements and updates
- Provide hands-on support to HR and Payroll teams, resolving system issues and queries
- Analyse business requirements and translate into functional specifications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver solutions
- Ensure compliance with HMRC and other UK payroll regulatory requirements
- Support monthly and year-end payroll processes and reporting
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer to internal teams as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, particularly UK Payroll and Core HR modules
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and reporting (RTI, P60, P45, etc.)
- Hands-on configuration and support experience in Oracle HCM
- Experience in fast formula, HDL, and payroll flows desirable
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Oracle Cloud certification in HCM or Payroll
- Experience working in public sector or large-scale enterprise environments
- Familiarity with integrations (Oracle Integration Cloud, APIs, etc.)
Working Pattern
- 4 days per week (flexible on working days)
- Hybrid working model with some on-site presence in London required
