An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join a well-established financial services group. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a full legal function across the group and its affiliated companies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including tech agreements aligned with regulatory requirements
- Manage legal documentation and maintain precedent agreements
- Provide GDPR and data protection guidance
- Handle disputes and liaise with external counsel
- Deliver internal legal training and support company secretarial duties
Requirements:
- England & Wales qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE
- Strong contract and tort law knowledge; insurance or financial services experience preferred
- Commercially aware with excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Able to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
