Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a Retail organisation based in Yorkshire with a Legal Counsel position permanently.
As the Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking a range of commercial contracts with a focus on B2C contracts, IT Contracts (SAAS), NDAs, standard terms, and manufacturing agreements.
- Assisting the procurement team with queries and contract terms and termination.
- Assisting with drafting and implementing policies and procedures and ensuring contracts are kept up to date, streamlining processes where required.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements for the business.
- Assisting with consumer claims as and when required.
- Handling Data Protection matters.
As the Legal Counsel, you will have:
- Experience working within the Retail sector or for retail clients in private practice; experience working with IT Contracts and consumer law would also be advantageous in an in-house setting.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across the Group and have an ambition for growth within the group.
- An interest in AI or experience working with AI would also be advantageous.
