Derivatives Counsel - In-House

A leading global investment bank is seeking a talented Derivatives Lawyer to join its Macro FX & Rates Legal team in London.

In this high-impact role, you’ll report directly to the Head of Legal and work on a broad range of matters, including:

• Supporting the International Markets business on legal and regulatory issues related to fixed‑income trading.
• Advising on Macro Markets businesses, with a focus on Rates & FX.
• Driving innovative projects, including tech‑based and process improvements.

This is a dynamic mix of transactional and advisory work, offering exposure to cutting‑edge initiatives in global markets.

What we’re looking for:

• ✅ Qualified lawyer in the UK or another common law jurisdiction.
• ✅ Strong legal advisory experience in Rates & FX.
• ✅ Expertise in derivatives hedging for lending transactions.
• Knowledge of financial market regulations.
• Familiarity with ISDA definitions and documentation.
• Experience with derivatives documentation and transactions.
