The role involves managing a caseload of complex property litigation matters, particularly focusing on development-related disputes. This includes providing strategic advice to clients, representing them in court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution forums, as well as mentoring and supervising junior associates and paralegals. Additionally, contributing to business development initiatives and fostering strong client relationships is key.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years’ PQE in property litigation, specifically within a reputable law firm. Strong expertise in handling complex property litigation matters, particularly in the development sector, is essential. A proven track record of successful client representation and business development is important, and previous experience in mentoring and leading a team is preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are also requisite.
