Overview

Technical Sales Manager role at TieTalent. An expanding engineering firm seeking to drive growth, win new business, and manage key accounts in the South East of the UK. OTE up to £120,000. BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000. Benefits include uncapped commission, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, and a company car.

Location

Maidenhead. Commutable from Slough, Windsor, Ascot, Woking, Reading, Guildford, Basingstoke, Swindon, High Wycombe, Uxbridge, Watford, and surrounding areas.

Job Description

As part of our ongoing growth, we’re introducing a Technical Sales Manager role focused on pumps and engineering. You will leverage pump industry experience and an engineering background to deliver commercially focused solutions tailored to customer needs, from surveying plant rooms to understanding client requirements and providing bespoke pumping and mechanical solutions that improve system performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your sales territory by building on existing relationships and developing new business.
• Split your time between account management (70%) and new business development (30%).
• Have hands-on experience of maintenance and troubleshooting an array of pumps, fans and electrical motors.
• Use your technical acumen to provide solution-based sales, technical proposals and recommendations.

Qualifications / Skills

• Be a proactive Technical Sales Manager, Field Sales Engineer, seizing opportunities to build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Hands-on experience of maintaining and servicing pumps, fans and motors with understanding of pump system controls and energy optimisation.
• Excellent influencing abilities and the confidence to gain support for your ideas and solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and seamless delivery.
• Hold relevant technical or engineering qualifications/experience (e.g., Degree, HNC, HND or qualified by experience).
