Director at Arbuthnot Yon – Legal, Compliance and Company Secretarial Professionals
Our client is a Fintech company in the securities finance space, established over 20 years ago, currently experiencing significant growth. With investment backing and ongoing global expansion, they are seeking a Commercial/Tech lawyer, preferably available at short notice, to join as a 12-month maternity cover.
If the company’s growth continues, there is potential for this role to become permanent after the initial term.
The role reports directly to the General Counsel and involves:
- Providing day-to-day legal advice to the business, especially to the Technology, Information Security, and Sales departments;
- Drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts with vendors and partners;
- Assisting the GC with preparing monthly board packs and investor updates;
- Advising on the impact of current and upcoming regulatory developments.
