The Role
You’ll bring your hands‑on expertise to define and manage test strategies throughout the delivery lifecycle. You’ll lead functional, performance, and automation teams while working closely with stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Test Management: Plan, manage, and execute all test activities, including system, integration, and user‑acceptance tests
- Risk‑Based Planning: Develop test strategies with a focus on risk prioritisation and mitigation
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and proactive problem‑solving
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work confidently within a matrix organisation, managing vendor and third‑party relationships
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide test teams, fostering a culture of quality and accountability
- Non‑Functional Testing: Oversee performance and other non‑functional test activities, ensuring best practices are applied
- Automation Awareness: Apply knowledge of test automation methodologies and best practices
- User Acceptance Testing: Manage and engage stakeholders effectively during UAT cycles

Key Skills & Experience
- Strong test‑management skills with accountability for planning and execution
- Experience in risk‑based test planning and managing escalations
- Expertise in non‑functional testing methodologies and processes
- Confidence in stakeholder and vendor management, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration
- Strong background in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Track record of leading UAT efforts and driving process improvements
- Experience mentoring and guiding test teams to achieve high performance
- Background in a consultancy environment
- Eligible for SC Clearance
