Overview

A leading real estate developer and investment manager, specialising in value-add and sustainable development of industrial & commercial properties across the UK and Europe, is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Development Analyst. The business manages a substantial and diverse portfolio, combining integrated investment, development and project management capabilities to deliver market-leading results for institutional investors and JV partners.

The Role

The Senior Development Analyst will play a key role in monitoring the performance of existing schemes and identifying new investment opportunities. Working closely with the Development team, responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, updating, and reviewing development appraisals in line with evolving project data.
  • Producing funding reports for equity and debt partners.
  • Assisting with development finance conditions precedent and coordinating required information.
  • Supporting bank drawdowns, monitoring loan covenants, and addressing cost overruns.
  • Preparing quarterly presentations for senior management and board meetings.
  • Assessing financial statements of prospective tenants and contractors to inform risk decisions.
  • Collating and reporting sustainability metrics.
  • Maintaining development databases and supporting new bid submissions.
  • Preparing initial reports and market analysis to support acquisition opportunities.
  • Conducting site visits and attending relevant launches, events, and networking functions.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the property or real estate industry.
  • Advanced numerical, statistical, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with property cashflows, financial modelling, and an understanding of investment and development principles.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and a proactive approach.
