We are thrilled to be recruiting an Operations Director for our Chatham based client, with interviews available immediately and potential for a quick start to enable a handover. Offering a generous salary of £85,000pa plus bonus and a car this role isn’t one to be missed.

Working in a small team that packs a lot of power, some of the responsibilities as Operations Director are:

• Leading the business operations and team on a day-to-day basis
• Working loosely with the Works Manager to produce competitive and comprehensive pricing to clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Identifying tender opportunities and completing tender documents
• Planning of projects and guiding the Labour Manager to ensure the best use of labour available
• Budget management
• Working with the external HSQE Consultant to ensure compliance at all times
• Managing large, multi-site teams

What do they need from you?

Our client is looking for an individual with solid rail experience within a Senior Operations Management position and preferably with Project Management and pricing experience.

Though an HND/HNC in Civil Engineering would be great, it isn’t a requirement for this role. The successful individual will need to hold a valid PTS, SMSTS and IOSH Managing Safely but provided you have all the right experience, this can be arranged once in post.

This is a truly exciting experience for a company that is steadily growing. The working pattern is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with some flexibility needed during busy times and is fully remote with days in the office when it suits to sit down and catch up with the team face to face.
