Experience
- 7+ years post‑qualification experience in planning (consultancy or public sector), focused on major infrastructure projects.
- Strong track record delivering large‑scale planning schemes on time and to budget.
- Business development experience and commercial awareness.
- Leadership of project teams.
- Full lifecycle experience of major planning processes, including examination.
- Post‑consent experience and renewable energy project delivery.
- Strong industry reputation and network.
Qualifications
- Degree in Planning or related subject.
- Chartered Membership of RTPI.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of national planning policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with relevant policy statements, guidance notes, and regulations.
- Knowledge of the energy sector and renewable technologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn other software.
- Financial and budget management skills.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and team management abilities.
- Willingness to support business development.
