Senior Compliance Specialist
Colt Data Centre Services is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our Security & Resilience team in London. In this role you will collect, analyze, and report compliance data to support internal and external stakeholders and to meet regulatory and customer reporting obligations.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain a standardised approach to customer‑facing compliance reporting across GTS, producing clear, high‑quality outputs tailored to various business audiences and aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present materials for internal assurance and governance forums, including Audit Committee, Board, and relevant Steering Committees, while engaging effectively with stakeholders across GTS, Legal, Commercial, and Operations to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate evidence collection and response activities for external audits and customer assurance requests, ensuring alignment with certification requirements and maintaining a centralised repository of validated documentation.
- Design and maintain reporting templates and dashboards using Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI, identifying opportunities to continually improve reporting processes through automation and data visualisation.
- Monitor evolving customer expectations and regulatory requirements, contributing to the continuous improvement of reporting practices and supporting broader business objectives through cross‑functional collaboration.
Skills & Experience
- A solid understanding of compliance frameworks and their associated reporting requirements.
- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and presentation.
- Proven expertise in PowerBI or similar tools for dashboard creation and data visualisation.
- Ability to design, build, automate and continually improve high‑quality business reporting.
- Experience of reporting to senior organisation stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong capability in preparing high‑quality, standardised reports for internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to tailor content and messaging to suit the needs of different audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and comfortable presenting both small and large groups at senior/executive manager level.
- Project management and stakeholder engagement, able to act independently as well as part of multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Understanding of IT and OT environments and their associated security challenges.
- Proactive approach to improving reporting processes, including automation and standardisation.
- An understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS and ISAE/SSAE SOC 2 certification & audit processes.
- Experience working with Audit Board and/or similar compliance and reporting tools desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
- Demonstrable business analysis experience at a senior level.
