Job Purpose

The Associate Director, Recreation Fitness and Wellness is responsible for implementing and administering programs in fitness, non-credit instruction, and other wellness initiatives. This role directly supervises full-time and more than 35 part-time staff. Specific responsibilities include program management, recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of professional, student, and contingent staff; development and oversight of operating budgets; development and enforcement of program policies and procedures; and revenue generation. This position reports to the Interim Executive Director (ED) until an ED is hired. This role may also manage the aquatics team and the master’s swimming team.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and three to five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience. Master’s degree in exercise-related fields is preferred.

The expected pay range for this position is $87,018- $103,000 per annum.
