Our client is a respected and growing multidisciplinary consultancy, with offices across London and the South. They are seeking an Associate Director & Lead Fire Engineer to create and lead a brand-new Fire Engineering service line. This is a rare opportunity to build a department from the ground up, shape its strategy, and establish a high-profile offering within a company with national reach.
As Associate Director & Lead Fire Engineer, you will have full ownership of establishing a new fire engineering service. You will define standards, deliver consultancy across a broad and varied project portfolio, and lead a growing team of fire engineers. Your role combines technical leadership with strategic business development. You will generate new client relationships, grow revenue streams, and position the service as a trusted adviser for complex projects.
You are a Chartered Fire Engineer (MIFireE or equivalent) with over 10 years’ experience delivering complex fire engineering projects. Ambitious and entrepreneurial, you are motivated to build and lead a high‑performing team from the ground up. You are confident in generating new business, developing long‑term client relationships, and positioning a service as a trusted adviser on complex projects. You take full ownership of your service line and are driven by the opportunity to shape its growth, impact, and long‑term success within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
If you are ready to build a fire engineering service from the ground up and step into a senior leadership role, apply now or contact Hugo Oliver on 07947 648308 or holiver@carriera.co.uk.
