MEP Cost Manager.

My client is looking for a MEP Project Cost Manager to join our London MEP Cost Management team.

What you need to do to be effective in this role

1. Perform quantity take-offs for lighting, containment, pipework, ductwork, etc., with minimal supervision.
2. Review and cost variations, with guidance as needed.
3. Source and obtain pricing for plant items, liaising with suppliers and ensuring timely follow-ups.
4. Assist in reviewing valuation submissions from contractors, including conducting site visits.
5. Maintain accurate cost logs, ensuring all relevant updates from emails and meetings are recorded promptly.
6. Support cost reporting and financial analysis.
7. Contribute to cost planning across all RIBA stages.

The skills and experience you need to have for this role

1. BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
2. MEP cost management experience is required and must be clearly stated in your application and will be discussed / evidenced at interview
3. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels
4. A proactive and collaborative work ethic, supporting teams across the business to meet deadlines
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Bluebeam, and CostX
