An established and growing national Corporate Tax team is seeking an Associate Director level Corporate Tax Lawyer to join its highly regarded practice in Bristol. The team advises a broad mix of UK mid-market and international clients on both stand‑alone advisory matters and transaction‑related tax issues. Requirements
- Experience within a transactional and/or advisory tax practice
- Strong technical understanding of UK and international tax rules and structures
- Ability to handle a varied workload involving both advisory and transaction‑based matters
- Experience or interest in areas such as real estate, funds, private equity, corporate or related sectors
- Demonstrated ability to deliver clear, commercial advice
- Proven capability to lead aspects of client engagements and support junior team members.
- Suitability for an Associate Director level role, reflecting both technical expertise and growing client/leadership responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provide UK and cross‑border tax advice for mid‑market and international clients
- Support and take ownership of complex tax structuring projects across sectors such as real estate, funds, and private equity
- Work closely with colleagues across corporate, real estate, banking, projects, and other teams
- Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships, acting as a senior point of contact for key clients
- Contribute to the team’s proactive, forward‑looking approach to generating advisory work
- Mentor and guide junior lawyers, helping to develop their technical and commercial skills
