The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director and managing a Finance Assistant, the Commercial Finance Manager will provide comprehensive financial oversight across a group of three entities. This is a hands‑on and commercially focused role, combining robust financial control with meaningful business partnering to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and associated reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
  • Commercial analysis and performance reporting
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Providing financial insight to operational stakeholders
  • Maintaining strong financial governance across multiple entities
  • Supporting transactional finance activity where required

The Candidate

  • AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualified/part‑qualified candidates will be considered, alongside strong QBE applicants with relevant experience
  • Exposure to multi‑entity environments, ideally within a product‑led or commercially driven business
  • Proven experience in management accounts preparation, reporting and reconciliations
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
  • A hands‑on and adaptable approach
  • The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • High levels of integrity and appreciation for confidentiality
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
  • A full UK driving licence is required
