An established wealth management and financial planning firm in London is seeking a motivated Paraplanner to join its high-performing, collaborative team. Role & Responsibilities

As a Paraplanner, you will provide essential technical and research support to the financial planning team while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client service.

  • Preparing reports, recommendation letters, and compliant advice documents
  • Conducting technical calculations (Inheritance Tax, CGT, carry forward etc.)
  • Creating and presenting cashflow models using Voyant software
  • Supporting advisers with client meeting preparation and attending meetings where required
  • Producing detailed file notes and identifying planning requirements for annual reviews
  • Managing client paperwork, research, and provider communications
  • Assisting with compliance documentation and peer reviewing reports
  • Supporting trainee paraplanners and administrators, including client liaison and new business processing
  • Participating in weekly adviser meetings and monthly team reviews
  • Continuously developing knowledge via CPD and professional qualifications

Skills & Experience Required

  • At least 3 years’ experience within financial services, with 2 years in a dedicated paraplanner role
  • Level 4 qualified (or working towards)
  • Experience working with HNW private clients preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, including tax calculations and compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and financial planning tools (Xplan, Voyant)
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, “can-do” approach
  • Professional discretion and sensitivity when working with client information, including vulnerable clients
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service up to 30 days)
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme (3% employer, 5% employee)
