Our clientis a long-established specialist interiors sub-contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality finishes across complex commercial and residential projects. Headquartered in Northern Ireland, we've built lasting relationships with some of the UK and Irelands leading Tier 1 main contractors, including Graham, BAM, and McAleer & Rushe.

Due to a strong pipeline of secured work and a strategic drive for growth, we are now looking to expand our presence in the Midlands region. As such, were seeking a talented Estimator or Senior Estimator to take a lead role in pricing and tendering from the ground up with a view to supporting and developing a new regional office presence.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute Estimator to step into a role with real autonomy and long-term growth potential. Working closely with senior management, you'll be instrumental in identifying and pricing new opportunities across the Midlands, liaising with existing Tier 1 clients, and shaping Oakleafs' growth in the region.

You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders on dry lining, partitions, SFS, suspended ceilings and acoustic solutions from small packages to large-scale projects across commercial, residential, education, healthcare and leisure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full tender process from initial enquiry through to submission
• Interpret drawings and specifications to produce accurate take-offs and cost estimates
• Liaise with supply chain and internal teams to gather up-to-date rates and commercial input
• Prepare and submit bills of quantities, scope of works, and pricing schedules
• Work closely with Directors and project teams on post-tender handovers
• Build strong relationships with main contractors, architects and consultants
• Assist in the development of commercial strategies to support the growth of the Midlands region
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings when required
• Maintain tender pipeline and ensure key deadlines are met

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within the dry lining, partitioning, suspended ceiling or SFS sectors
• Comfortable working with Tier 1 main contractors on major commercial schemes
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to read technical drawings and specs
• Confident using estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Conquest, Excel-based systems)
• Midlands-based and able to travel for meetings/site visits when needed
• Ambitious, self-motivated and ready to play a key role in shaping a new regional hub
