Senior Business Manager @ Mitchell Adam Ltd | Senior Qualified Finance Recruitment

This global multi-site business is looking to appoint an assured Finance Business Partner to strategically support operations of a large division of its UK operation, based in Coventry (hybrid working on offer).

Working closely with senior operational management and directly supporting the Director of your business area in a high-profile role, you will provide accurate, meaningful, and insightful financial analysis (including sales & margin analysis, detailed business analysis, management information, forecasting, commentary, and budget management) to support operational decision-making at a strategic level for this complex, fast-paced business. You will also conduct budget reviews with various stakeholders to help drive profitability and growth, while managing a small team.

The successful candidate will be heavily involved in strategy and performance across multiple departments, working directly with stakeholders to deliver value-adding, commercially focused support aimed at improving margins.

Ideally, you will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with demonstrable experience in financial analysis within a commercial environment, preferably in a business partner role, with exposure to a multi-site distribution business.
• Have experience providing financial support to non-finance colleagues, with a proven track record of delivering insightful and detailed information.
• Be able to demonstrate instances where you added value through cost-saving initiatives, business/reporting improvements, and strategic decision support.
• Possess strong Excel skills for quick and efficient data interpretation.
