The Opportunity

We are looking for an experiencing and engaging Finance Business Partner to provide clear, accurate and detailed information on overhead costs and use this information to work with budget holders to identify and deliver cost efficiencies.

What we are looking for

Ideally - Manufacturing background, part qualified with 5+ years experience with an eye for detail and dealing with non-financial colleagues. Ability to adapt quickly to change and add value. Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Role Purpose

Provide support to the Financial Controller for Manufacturing Cost and Overheads. Role to include Budget holder reviews and development of internal systems/processes. Clear understand of Accruals and Prepayments and working to tight deadlines.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop, implement and maintain procedures to ensure accurate and complete cost of sales, overhead, depreciation and divisional costs
• Prepare Accruals and Prepayments in conjunction with Budget Holder reviews.
• Take accountability for the budget, in year forecasting and future year plans for cost of sales, stocks, overhead, depreciation and divisional costs
• Work with budget holders to ensure production of robust Forecasts and Budgets and monitor variances
• Responsible for loading budget, forecast and future years plan data into source systems (CODA), ensuring reconciliation to submissions and integrity of the data
• Help drive reduction of Working Capital with ownership of monthly balance sheet reporting and reconciliations, including investigation and rectification of any reconciling items in a timely manner
• Support business capital planning and model impacts on deprecation, recognising the importance of adherence to the relevant procedures, controls and policies
• Support the business and Financial Controller with ad hoc projects, investigations, cost saving initiatives
• Ensure appropriate financial and internal controls are in place and strive for continuous improvement across the business
