Overview

Exciting Opportunity: Asset Financial Modeler for Transformative African Power Projects

Are you a skilled financial modeler with a passion for the energy sector? This leading independent power producer is seeking an experienced Asset Financial Modeler to join their dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth across Africa.

Responsibilities

• Update and run complex project finance-based asset models to support existing and new projects
• Assist with designing the group-wide consolidated model for operating assets
• Convert models from project finance investment case to operational models post-construction
• Provide training and coaching to local asset teams on their respective models
• Support the alignment of annual business plan models with longer-term valuation models
• Interact with lenders on disbursement requests, waivers, distributions, and reporting

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in building and reviewing financial models for project finance, complex transactions, or asset valuations
• Experience in the power industry, project finance, or business valuation
• Accounting experience, MBA, or comparable financial certification
