About the Role

We’re hiring a Cost Controller & Analyst to join a global leader in pharmaceuticals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to partner with senior stakeholders and play a key role in delivering financial support and process management across SAR-related functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Finance Business Partner to department leads, providing insights and advice on costs, consulting spend, FTEs, and planning.
• Understand and explain cost drivers to non-financial stakeholders.
• Lead month-end close activities: accruals, reclassifications, allocations, and FTE assignments.
• Support Capex controlling and new business case setup.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and Outlook/Target planning.
• Drive continuous process improvement and support audits, M&A, and divestment projects.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years’ experience in cost control, FP&A, or financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with experience explaining financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with SAP (preferred) and Power BI or other BI tools.
• Knowledge of project budgeting and cost tracking within a corporate or manufacturing setting.
