Tax Manager

Are you an experienced tax professional ready to take the next step into a managerial role? We’re currently seeking a Tax Manager to join a respected accountancy practice in Dover.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong background in practice-based tax, who is either CTA-qualified or nearing the end of their studies, and now looking to step up into a role with greater responsibility and client impact.

As Tax Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of clients and be responsible for managing both compliance and advisory work

Key Responsibilities

• Review and finalise personal and corporate tax returns
• Offer proactive tax planning and advisory support to a diverse range of clients
• Serve as a key point of contact, maintaining and developing client relationships
• Guide and mentor junior team members
• Work alongside partners to deliver a high-quality service across all tax areas

About You

• Several years of tax experience within a UK accountancy firm
• CTA qualification or be nearing the end of your studies
• Strong working knowledge of personal and corporate tax matters
• Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset
• Leadership potential and a collaborative, proactive attitude
• Full-time, permanent role
• Hybrid working options and flexibility over hours
• Study support for those completing CTA
• A clear path for long-term progression
• Exposure to a varied and interesting client base
• A close-knit and friendly team environment
