We are now looking for an Assistant to the Data Protection Officer to join us on a full‑time, permanent basis, working Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

The Role

As the Assistant to the Data Protection Officer (DPO), you’ll help us to meet our obligations under UK GDPR and uphold the highest standards of privacy and accountability.

You’ll support the DPO in overseeing data protection compliance across parishes, central services, and diocesan agencies, ensuring that personal data is handled with care, transparency, and integrity.

Ensuring all data practices meet legal requirements and best practice standards, you will review operations and data use, support privacy impact assessments and audits, and provide guidance on compliance issues.
