Network Security Engineer

A leading financial technology and data science firm requires a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, deploy and operate high-performance network security solutions in support of (but not limited to) financial trading infrastructure.

The Network Security Engineer is responsible for securing the network perimeter/edge and Cloud in a highly complex technology ecosystem. The incoming Engineer will need to demonstrate deep knowledge of next-generation firewall technology and SOAR concepts (including coding experience).

Core Skills:

• Multi-vendor firewall design, deploy operate experience (Palo Alto and Fortinet)
• Advanced knowledge of CASB and SASE technologies and concepts
• Advanced knowledge of load-balancing and application delivery concepts
• Security automation and tooling experience (Python)
• Device monitoring and performance management experience
• Advanced troubleshooting experience
• CISSP (advantageous)

The firm is in a period of rapid expansion and the role would suit an engineer who can demonstrate experience of successful delivery in a "scale-up" environment.
