Base pay range
WCS Group are part of the Marlowe Environmental Services. WCS Group have fantastic opportunities to add to our expanding team for Experienced Water Hygiene Technician. Read on to find out more.
The successful candidate will be ideally based in the London area and will cover sites in the London and South East regions.
Package
- Salary up to £38,000 (depending on experience), In addition to your basic salary there are significant opportunities to earn bonuses and overtime is readily available
- 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. After 2 complete years’ continuous service with the Company you will be entitled to one extra day of holiday for every complete year of service thereafter, to a maximum of 25 days
- 10 extra paid days leave for Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers to attend their annual training

Main Duties
- Water Sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Descaling of shower head and hoses
- TMV Servicing
- Tank Cleans and inspections
- Cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of the cooling towers
- Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers
- Mains injection pipework chlorination works
- Technical service (closed heating and chilled system testing, cooling tower weekly/monthly checks and water treatment of boilers)
- Plumbing & water treatment remedial skills
- Acid descaling of boilers, towers and condensers
- To train less experienced technicians/engineers
Requirements

- Confined space trained (advantageous)

- Good level of computer skills
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Hold a full driving licence
- Previous experience required
